Redeeming Love, pg. 269 (via supjennifer)
Lips locked shut by dry spit.
Her tongue has been bruised by sinister aspersion.
She let her mind walk more than the truth placed fare inside and outside the faces of skin and her heart.
She is lonely because she chose worthless thought processes.
Her ears are inside out listening to doubt more than those complementing her presence around them.
He stands there, open smiles, open foundations
crying for her heart to remember her genuine salvation.
She asks where He is because she placed her own image of His grace upon herself.
Because of that she has nothing but selfish regrets and burned expectations.
Time will not prove mercy, mercy will stand its ground till time has no life.
She closes her eyes, opens her eyes on the inside to see the way her Creator sees.
She wants to break inside healing, not in the dark.
“Father!” she cries “I’m weary, I’m here because You are. I need You to pour into me because without you I am no more.”
Youth - Daughter
